Pict Bull
This original painting is based on a stone carving from Burghead, Scotland. The Picts left no written records to speak of, but there are many striking carvings of animals scattered over the north of England and Scotland which reflect their respect for animals. The Bull is associated with virility, power, and masculine strength. Bull worship dates back to the beginnings of recorded time in ancient Babylon. This piece is acrylic on canvas and measures approx. 11"x14".
