Pict Boar
Since the Picts left no written records to speak of, they are a people of mystery. They left many striking carvings of animals as an unspoken record of their esteem for animals.
The Boar is associated with the Warrior spirit - along with the Bear, and the Wolf which were the other two warrior castes. Of these three, the Boar was considered particularly dangerous, in tune with the ferocious nature of the animal. This is a symbol of courage, and daunting unstoppable bravery.
